Race History

Hicky logo, by: Graham Cuff2000: Entered first ever Minimoto race at Strubby airfield.2001: Entered select British Minimto championship rounds (best result of 7th), finished 5th overall in S.E.M.R.C. Minimoto championship and finished 2nd in the Eastern Counties Minimoto championship.

2002: Entered Aprilia RS125 Superteen Challenge at the age of 14. Finishing 6th overall in the championship with numerous wins, podiums and lap records along the way.

2003: Asked to ride for Hawk Kawasaki in the MRO Supersport 400 Championship, finishing 9th overall with a few podiums from half way through the year.

2004: Again asked to ride for Hawk Kawasaki, this time in the British Superstock Cup Championship on a ZX10R. Had to miss the first round of the championship as I wasn’t old enough to ride a 1000!!! Ended up winning the championship at the last round, with four wins and numerous podiums throughout the year.

2005: Rode for Astro Kawasaki in the British Superstock Championship finishing 9th overall with a podium at the final Hicky race readyround.

2006: Rejoined Hawk Kawasaki to contest the British Superbike Championship. Finished 18th overall with a best result of 8th.

2007: Continued with Hawk Kawasaki for another season but left nearing the end of the season. Joined Dyer Crossgills Yamaha Superstock team for last 4 rounds with strong results.

2008: Signed for the newly formed Ultimate Racing Team to contest the British Superstock 1000 Championship on a Yamaha R1. Finished 3rd in the Championship.

2009: Resigned for Ultimate Racing to race in the British Superbike Privateer Championship on the new ‘big bang’ Yamaha R1. 20 podiums from 26 races sealed 2nd in the championship.

2010: Has resigned again for Ultimate Racing to contest the British Superbike Championship onboard the ‘big bang’ Yamaha R1.
