Mallory: Friday’s Practice suspended
The organisers of the ninth round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Mallory Park have rescheduled all of the practice and qualifying sessions into Saturday, with racing on Sunday, following the suspension of activities on Friday afternoon due to torrential rain.
The first free practice for the Superbikes had been stopped when Ollie Bridewell crashed at the Esses and despite the best endeavours of the BSB Medical team succumbed, while being treated in the circuit medical centre, to the critical head and neck injuries he had sustained in the incident.
